Mrs. Parra's Weekly Letter
Information for the week of: May 29th - June 1st

Dear Parents,

Last Friday, we had so much fun learning about Electricity and Magnetism. Part of our special presentation was for each student to make their own magnet using a nail, wire and a battery - cool, huh?

As a school, we are helping Grace Christian Orphanage in Mexico. Our class will be donating school supplies and hopefully $2.00/student to purchase 2 backpacks for this orphanage (by May 31st). We are thankful for this opportunity to give to others. May God bless our efforts!

We are definitely in the final weeks of school now. I will miss this class so much. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of working with you this year to teach your child.

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

Mrs. Parra

Mrs. Parra's Weekly Letter
Information for the week of: May 21-25th

Dear Parents,

Many of you at Open House were asking me how best to have your child review over the summer. I have attached (to the hard copy of this letter) a front and back cover of a book that you can purchase at Barnes and Noble. The name of the book is Summer Bridge Activities (for 4th graders going into 5th). I suggest doing a little review out of the book each day over the summer. Students will also want to practice 3 digit multiplication and long division problems.

Thank you so much for the beautiful "Teacher Appreciation Week." I am the one that is truly appreciative of all of you. Thank You!

Take care and may your week be filled with blessings,

Mrs. Parra

Important Dates and Information:

Wed. (5-23) Math Test over lessons through 80. We will have a practice test Tues. in class. Students will need to do the practice test over the weekend (attached to the hard copy of this letter).
