Summer is here and school is almost out!!!

We've had a wonderful year.
We have completed our Spelling Word Lists and our Bible Verses!!!


Students should continue to read nightly and study their math number facts during the summer.


Important Dates:

June 14 2nd grade class picnic: students should bring sack lunches
June 15 Classroom parties: please sign up to bring snacks
June 16 Last day of school - Minimum Day with school ending at 12:15pm
Concert in the park: students should bring sack lunches

Weekly Homework for June 6-10

We have completed our Spelling Word Lists!!!
No more spelling words this year!!


Bible Story: We will be learning the Lord's Prayer
Weekly Bible Verse: The entire Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6: 9-13).
Please help your child memorize their verse for the test on Friday.

Reading: Please be sure to have your child read to you at least 15-20 minutes daily. Reading logs should be completed and returned to me on Monday so that I can record the number of pages read.

This list is a review of words from the first ten lists. Please review the spelling and vocabulary words nightly in preparation for the pre-test on Tuesday or Wednesday and the final test on Friday,
