K-Tone study. Students will draw objects in the classroom and will learn how to match tones/shades.
1st & 2nd-Have a great summer and see you all next school year!
3rd-Students will finish glazing potteries. Students will also work on their still life drawing/Plein Air drawing.
4th-Cartoons in watercolor.
5th-Plein Air Drawing.
HS Ceramics-High school ceramics final: June 11th, 10:30am-noon. There will be no written final. There will be a final project that students will be working on.

K-Tone study. Students will make a tone chart and learn how we are surrounded by tones/different shades.
1st-This week will be a make up week. Students get to finish their incomplete projects this week. All of art works will be coming home by June 12th. Have a great summer and see you all in September!
2nd-Foil & Plaster project is due this week. Students need to paint their plaster sculptures in acrylic paint.
3rd-Plein Air Drawing/ Still life drawing. Students' clay works will be bisque-fired on Monday, June 2nd, and they will be ready to glaze on Wednesday. After glazing, they will be glaze-fired again on June 9th and will be ready to take home on June 12th.
4th-Cartoon project in watercolor.
5th-Plein Air Drawing.
HS Ceramics-All the projects are due this week, including the Tooling foil project. Ceramics and Sculpture final will be on June 11th from 10:30am to noon. We will work on a printmaking project instead of a written final exam.

1st-'Desert Animal' project in color pencil.
2nd-Foil and Plaster strip sculpture: students will paint their project with acrylic paint once plaster dries.

5th-Still life drawing in color pencil is due this week. Our next project is Plein Air drawing. We will learn how to draw plants and trees.
HS Ceramics-Tile project. The next project is 'Tooling Foil Relief.'
