The Crystal
Cathedral has a reputation for their appreciation of not only
the performing arts, but also the visual arts. The grounds abound
with architectural gems as well as works of art by famous artists.
The same philosophy permeates the Academy. We honor God through
art and beauty. The students all receive instruction in the visual
arts and work together to create a myriad of art projects, in
all the media.
Our annual
art show each spring is unrivaled. We were honored to have Wyland,
the internationally renowned sea life artist combine efforts with
our students to create an oil painting of the ocean.
Dr. Schuller
has said about the art program at the Crystal Cathedral Academy,
"It is the best. We want the children to receive only the
best, because it is our dream to teach children to carry out the
mission of bringing beauty to our churches and to our world."
